Chinese ZTE to Supply 3G Terminals to Canadian TELUS

Chinese ZTE has struck a contract with Canadian telecommunications operator TELUS to supply 3G equipment, including WCDMA mobile phones and data cards. The first batch of CDMA2000 1xEV-DO (Evolution-Data Optimized) data cards has been shipped to TELUS and will be made available in major Canadian cities starting from August 2006.
